Halloween

Children dressing up in cutie outfits and trick or treating is so fun. I love the little ones, standing so proudly and totally into the character, saying "trick or treat" when I answer the door. A couple years ago, the door was open about 6 inches and I was standing in the kitchen just around the corner. I heard the voice of a child, then heard the door close and then a knock! I opened the door to a little guy no more than 4 years old. I guess he thought the door had to be closed in order for him to knock. He was standing there so self assured in his great big Spiderman outfit. His little eyes told it all. He was really, really Spiderman. I expected to see a long string of web come flying from his hand, latching onto the roof and him ascending to the highest regions. I gave him extra treats.
