Aunt Jheri

Aunt Jheri will be 65 on June 2. She has been battling cancer(s) for nearly 10 years now. Unfortunately, there is not more treatment. She has cancer in her bones and liver. It's a matter of time now. Hospice is there now.
My Aunt Pauline has moved into an appartment right next to Jheri in Morganton, North Carolina. Please pray for Jheri's daughter Paula. She has 2 little boys, Alex and Will who are the main joy in Aunt Jheri's life.

I was able to go visit them in April and am so thankful that I did. I went to mourn/remember/connect with Dad's family and tromp the hills he tromped. It was wonderful. It was difficult to come back home. I enjoyed them so much. I knew it would be my last visit with Aunt Jheri. But there is some hope that she will still be with us in August when I am returning for the east coast family reunion.
