Spent sometime in the woods Oct 2. Beautiful sunny day.

Walked by a stream, slipped and one foot ended up wet, so

decided not to be so careful and just put both feet in the water.

Suprisingly it was chilly but not freezing. It was actually rather refreshing.

Then there is the rose bush that blooms when it takes a notion.

It will bloom at the beginning of summer

and then not do a thing but look dead for weeks and all of a sudden it blooms again. Rather nice!
