They are building a retaining wall on a hill on Highway 530 at Skaglund Hill. The hillside keeps sliding. A couple years ago the road dropprd a few feet and they repaired it and built a bid retaining wall below the road. The plan then was to build one on the upper side. It's been quite a watch everyday driving to and from work. This week they did remove the big crain. So it's al the HUGE round concrete pillars are in.




The one above is the wall, far from finished. They build a road on top of  the lower retaining wall and I'm sure when they finish this one, the road will be rerouted. Why would you leave a perfectly good road when you can rip ip up?
