So, I guess we have snow! Total snowfall was near 5', but on the ground at any time was just under 4'.
The pile is from the roof of the garage--pretty tall.
Love the little "snow dog" on the neighbors' fence. Isn't he cute!
I've shoveled snow, fallen down, shoveled more snow including a roof and fallen down again. I'm finished with it. I wished for 6'. I'm changing my wish, can ya do that midstream?
I actually missed a day of work cause I couldn't get out. That was the worst. I've not missed a day in 5 years and to miss cause of snow--that's not good. I was raised in snow. First time driving there was snow. Oh well.
The house has stayed warm enough. Wood heat would have been nice, but oh I don't miss the mess.
The kids had a great time Christmas day playing in the snow. The kids being 20-32 years old. The little ones ages 18 months and 3 -1/2 year did too. Little Dani tried to throw snowballs. The cutest thing even seen. Mia the older, loved throwing snowballs at her uncle Ryan who obliged her with exaggerated gestures of surprise.
I've been home 2 days straight, which isn't enough. Today my neice wanted me to go to Mt. Vernon with her. I couldn't get my car out of the drive but she has a big 4 wheel drive truck. While we were away, my brother came and plowed the the drive. So--if I can get to Hwy 530 I'll be fine. The streets of D'town are horrible. But gotta hand it to the city crew, they've done their best trying to keep up. Just too much and then the rain set in and all's mushy, slushy and big bumps of ice makes things a real mess.
So I hope everyone had a Blessed Christmas. Christ is Born, Glorify Him.
Thanks for telling my about your blog!!! I love it! Snow much snow:)
